Working Experiences :
Start working as a staff of  Experimental Station of Building and Housing on 1989 to 1998 And then get the task sequences to be an officer of Section Head of Experimental station of Building Structure dan construction, Head of Experimental station of Building Material, Head of Experimental station of Building Structure dan construction, with the main task is to do the R&D, building assesment, laboratory testing, etc, related the building material and structrure and construction.  Since 2014, the currently position  as a head of Standardization and Cooperation Division to execute the preparation and formulation of standardization, to disseminate  applied technology dan Indonesia National Standard, and to processing of cooperation with any stakeholder. Besides of that, since the beginning of 2016 until now is carrying out the task to   update  the maps of sources and  hazard  for earthquake 2017 and being the coordinator of the National Center for Earthquake Studies Center (PuSGeN) which is an activity facilitated by Research Institute Of Housing and Human Settlements.

Major Concerns:
Development of  prestress - precast structured systems using the patented of steel reinforcement connection systems for various reinforced concrete buildings construction type. Since 2005 until now, this system has been applied to various multi-storey building projects and will soon be implemented in rigid pavement for road construction on 2017

Prof. Dr. Azlan Adnan, UTM

Dr. Azlan bin Adnan is a Professor at the Structural and Material Department, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Besides holding a position as the Research Head for a research group, “Structural Earthquake Engineering Research” or SEER, he is now attached to the Bureau of Innovation and Consultancy as the Deputy Dean in the Department of Consultancy. He was born in Kuala Lumpur and had a high school education from Victoria Institution, Kuala Lumpur. He pursued his B.Sc in Civil Engineering at California State University, Long Beach and his M.Sc in Structural Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). His Ph. D. degree was obtained through a joint program between UTM and Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago

Title :  State of the Arts in Foundation Analysis Through Artificial Neural Network

Professor Ir. Dr. Ramli Nazir is Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He obtained his Diploma in Civil Engineering (1983) and B.Eng. Civil (1988) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He completed his Doctor of Philosophy at University of Liverpool, UK in 1994. His fields of expertise include Geotechnical and Foundation Engineering. He has been actively involved in various international organizations, national organizations, and professional bodies. He managed to secure plenty of research grants and projects throughout his career with the faculty. He also produced numerous publications including book chapters, indexed and non indexed journals, proceedings, and selected as reviewers for few prestige journals. In regard to his excellence career achievements, he was awarded with “Anugerah Khidmat Cemerlang 2013, UTM” in the  year 2013.

Title :  Evaluation of Groundwater Resources in Chuping Valley Industrial Area

Datuk Ir. Dr. Azuhan Mohamed is the Director General of National Hydraulic Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM) under the Ministry of Natural Resources (NRE). He is a professional whose background cuts across engineering and earth sciences, with extensive work experience in the water sector both in the public and private sectors involving visible and invisible water resources as well as water services and disaster risk reduction. He is involved in research and development as well as innovation in the hydro-environment sector. He has authored several publications and produced many technical reports as well as made numerous presentations on hydro-environment locally and abroad. His most significant contribution to the national water sector is that he authored the papers that led to the restructuring of water services in Peninsular Malaysia and Labuan in 2005 during his tenure in the Economic Planning Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department. This has led to the amendment of Federal Constitution and the enactment of two new Acts and the formation of two entities that is, Water Services Regulator and Water Asset Management Company. He is a Professional Engineer and Licentiate Geologist as well as Certified Groundwater Professional and always believe that Malaysia is not facing a water crisis but in need of a transformation in water management.

Dr. Norhan Bin Abd. Rahman is a Assoc. Professor in Hydraulics and Hydrology at Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He completed his PhD in Geo-environmental Modelling from University of Wales Swansea, United Kingdom in 1998 and obtained his MSc. in Groundwater Engineering from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom in 1991.  He currently holds a position as a Research Fellow at Centre of Tropical Geoengineering (GEOTROPIK), UTM. He has more than 28 years’ experience in the field of Groundwater Management, Flood Management, Urban storm water Management, Geo-environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering and Groundwater Modelling and have wrote more than 120 technical papers and Journals related to his field of expertise.

Dr. Noordin Ahmad,

Dr. Noordin Ahmad is currently the Director General of the National Space Agency of Malaysia (ANGKASA). He has more than 30 years of experience in work related to space technology and applications. He obtained his Geomatics degree from University of Melbourne, Australia in 1984 and PhD in GPS Positioning from University of Newcastle, UK in 1988. Prior to joining ANGKASA, he was a Geospatial consultant involving in many GIS, GNSS and Remote Sensing consultancy works. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UTM) since 1998 with more than 50 journal papers and has supervised more than 30 research graduates. He is actively involved in the Geospatial sector and members of several technical committees on GNSS and GIS both locally and at regional level. He has won several prestigious awards and competitions at international level such as British High Commissioner Award, Asia Geospatial Excellence Award and Gold award for inventions at Geneva (Switzerland), Nuremburg (Germany), Manila (Philippines) and Madrid (Spain).
