The 7th Software Engineering Postgraduates Workshop (SEPoW 2019) is a special edition of Doctoral Symposium of APSEC for postgraduate students who perform research in software engineering field. SEPoW 2009 was hosted for the first time in Malaysia in conjunction with 16th APSEC 2009. Postgraduates will converge to present and discuss their research with peers and experienced researchers in a constructively critical atmosphere. The workshop provides Mentoring Panel consisting of prominent researchers in different areas of software engineering who will actively reflect on the research work and will contribute to the discussions. Presentations and discussions will be conducted in English. The workshop welcomes software engineering postgraduates who have completed extended research proposal stage to submit, participate and grab the opportunity to gain beneficial feedbacks and mock viva of their research work from experienced researchers around the region.
The goals of the workshop include:
The submitted paper must give a clear description of the research work and in particular:
*Note that more advanced stage of research work may also include results and discussions from the evaluation of the proposed work.
The one-day workshop will be organised on 2 December 2019 prior to APSEC 2019 main event. The conference fee is not including SEPoW 2019 fee. Presenters and participants of the workshop need to pay the workshop fee and entitled to participate in other workshops and tutorials.

Workshop & Tutorial Proposals
Interested researchers and practitioners may apply to conduct half-day workshops and tutorials at APSEC 2019 by contacting the following Chairs for further evaluation. If there are many proposals, the selection will be based on relevancy, needs and high number of potential audience as venues to accommodate the parallel workshops and tutorials are limited. Workshops and tutorials with hands-on will be prioritised. The proposal should include the instructors’ or trainers’ details, title, abstract, introduction that also states the workshop objectives and targeted audience, detail workshop tentative and special requirements such as participants should bring laptops installed with certain tools.
