Adrian David Cheok is a Full Professor at City University London. He is Founder and Director of the Mixed Reality Lab, Singapore. He was formerly Associate Professor in the National University of Singapore. He has previously worked in real-time systems, soft computing, and embedded computing in Mitsubishi Electric Research Labs, Japan. He has been working on research covering mixed reality, human-computer interfaces, wearable computers and ubiquitous computing, fuzzy systems, embedded systems, power electronics. More..

 

Prof. Dr. Ryohei Nakatsu
National University of Singapore

Ryohei Nakatsu received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from Kyoto University in 1969, 1971 and 1982 respectively. After joining NTT in 1971, he mainly worked on speech recognition technology. In 1994, he joined ATR (Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute) as the president of ATR Media Integration & Communications Research Laboratories. In 2002 he became a professor at School of Science and Technology, Kwansei Gakuin University. Prof. Dr. Rosalina Abd Salam

Rosalina Abdul Salam is a professor at the Faculty of Science & Technology, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). She received her B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Computing in 1992 from Leeds Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. She started her career as a System Analyst in Intel Penang from 1992. She returned to United Kingdom in 1995 to further her studies. She obtained her Masters Degree in Advanced Software Engineering from Sheffield University in 1997 and PhD in Computer Science from University of Hull in 2001. More...


   

Associate Prof. Dr. Mohd. Shafry b. Mohd Rahim
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia

Mohd. Shafry bin Mohd. Rahim is an experienced associate professor of computer graphic and image processing at Universiti Technology Malaysia and come from Perak. He received his B. Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science (1999) and his MSc. in Computer Science (2002) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Then, he obtained his Ph. D. in Spatial Modelling from Universiti Putra Malaysia at 2008.  The rapid development in the field of information and communication technology caused him eagerly want to share his acquired knowledge. To realize his desire, he has started his career as a lecturer at CITI College, Taiping Perak in early 1999 and continued his work at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He is seen as a determined and potential computer expert.  He was appointed as a senior lecturer at the age 32 years during his early involvement with UTM and as an associate professor 4 years after that.

 

Now, he focused his research together with his research group, UTM ViCubeLab under Faculty of Computing, UTM and contributed in his research group journal publication committee. He is expert in research area of computer graphic, image processing, geographical information system and web programming. His passionate with his research area make him published more than 70 papers for journals and conferences. Some of his research also involved with other organizations. Until now he has supervised more than 15 research students, including graduate students and doctoral philosophy. Currently, he has also contributed his expertise in UTMSPACE as a Deputy Director of Centre for Joint Programme and involved with MQA. In addition, he experienced as ICIDM 2012 conference’s chair and has appointed as Chief Editor for International Journal in Interactive Digital Media by his research group. More...
